What is a Shelf Supported Mezzanine Floor?
At its most basic: Steel Shelving Units are used as a base to support a raised mezzanine level.
It is an economical way to expand existing space
The mezzanine level is built on top of free standing shelving unit. This creates a highly economical storage solution, allowing for a great number of storage locations with the added benefit of an additional floor level which can be used for storage,production, manufacturing or as office space.
The floor media can be either Timber or Steel, depending on the intended application and purpose of the floor.
Additional shelving is often placed on or extended through the mezzanine. A shelf-supported warehouse mezzanine is common in automotive parts departments or in areas where more shelving space is needed than existing floor space can accommodate.
